FLEA MARKETS

• Volunteers of the Belmont VA Clinic will have a flea market and bake sale at the clinic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday. All veterans, families and friends are welcome. Donations and baked goods will be accepted that day. No clothing, please.

FUNDRAISERS

• AWARE, Mercer County Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, will sponsor a Father’s Day Casino Night on June 20 at Tiffany Manor in Brookfield. Doors open at 6 p.m., and there will be games of chance, including Blackjack Caribbean Stud, Let It Ride and Big 6 Wheel. There will also be a sports memorabilia raffle, including autographed boxing trunks donated by Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik. Also available will be a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres. SALES

• Friends of WomanSafe will have a trash and treasure sale of gently used items at recession prices from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 13 at Ridgeview Farm, 5488 Kinsman Road, Mesopotamia. Also for sale will be coffee, hot dogs, chips, soft drinks and fresh strawberry shortcake. • The semiannual Pythian Sisters Rummage and Bake Sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at 123 College St., West Farmington. Used clothing, books and household items will be for sale. Saturday is $2-a-bag day. Lunch will be served.

• Tabernacle Baptist Church, 707 Arlington St., will have a gently used Heavenly Treasures rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Donations of tax-deductible items such as clothing, electronics, jewelry, furniture and sporting goods will be accepted at the church. • T.N.R. of Warren will sponsor a huge yard sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Crest Lanes, 3390 Youngstown Road S.E., Warren. Cash will be accepted, and all sales will be final. Vendors can rent a table for $10 by contacting (330) 719-5569. Setup will be the morning of the sale. Available will be household items, new and used items, books, clothes, tools, pictures and a wide variety of miscellaneous items. There will also be a bake sale, and food and beverages will be available.

SPECIAL EVENTS

• St. Lucy Church will sponsor a no-limit Texas Hold ’em Tournament Saturday at the parish banquet center, 394 Tenney Ave., Campbell. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and play will begin at 6:30. A buy-in of $70 entitles player to $4,000 in chips. Preregister by Thursday to receive $500 in extra chips. Cash games will be available beginning at 3 p.m. There will be free food, bottled water and pop. Additional parking is available in the back. • United Quilt Guild will sponsor a quilt show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 26 and 27 at Sebring McKinley High School, 225 E. Indiana Ave., Sebring. On Friday, the featured speaker will be Sue Nickels, internationally known quilter and teacher. There will be demonstrations and refreshments.
