Medicus-Tarantino wedding plans are announced

YOUNGSTOWN — Julie Medicus, 4711 Westwood Drive, a daughter of the late Sam and Helen Kallenbaugh, and Joseph Tarantino Jr., a son of Wanda Tarantino, both of 3701 Staunton Road, are announcing their engagement and wedding plans.

Invitations will be extended for the 2 p.m. Aug. 8 ceremony at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Austintown, and for their evening reception at Mahoning Country Club in Girard.

The bride-elect, a language arts teacher with Girard City Schools, graduated from Youngstown State University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education.

The future groom, also a son of the late Joseph Tarantino, is a customer service representative with West Communications Corp. in Niles.
