Tabernacle church members surprise parade goers

Austintown Fourth of July parade watchers found themselves pleasantly surprised as members of the Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church passed out free hot dogs, soda and cold water. 'This has been a tradition of Tabernacle church body members for over 17 years,' said Lynn L. Smith, of the church. They handed out more than 750 hot dogs that hot July day. Bob Sine of Austintown, above, was there with his family and friends. From left to right are Sean Stewart, Michael Koerth, Daniel Robb and Brett Hofus. Sine, sitting in the chair, was the happy recipient of a hot dog.
