36 laptop computers missing from Pa. high school
READING, Pa. (AP) — A Reading School District official said Monday that 36 laptop computers are missing from the high school.
The discovery comes less than two weeks after the district acknowledged that nearly four-dozen laptops were missing from its alternative education school.
School board member William Cinfici says the computers were discovered missing last Thursday after an in-house inventory.
The laptops are valued at $500 to $900 each.
News of the missing high school computers comes on the heels of the recent revelation that nearly four-dozen laptops worth up to $41,400 were missing at the district’s EXCEL alternative education school.
