23-year-old Hubbard woman killed in one-car crash

HUBBARD — The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate a one-car crash that killed a 23-year-old woman.

Ashley Phillips, of Hubbard, was driving west on U.S. Route 62 just before 8 p.m. Monday when she went off the right side of the road. Police said her 1999 Kia Sephia overturned and hit two trees. Phillips suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said she wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
