Delphi hourly retirees protest pension, health-care reductions
WARREN — Hourly retirees from Delphi Packard Electric have formed Retirees United, a group that is protesting a reduction in pensions and health-care benefits.
About 60 retirees met with the media this morning to kick off their efforts. They are assembling a list of Packard retirees and are asking that retirees call the union hall at (330) 392-1591 ext. 232 or send an e-mail to maryloudever@gmail.com with a name, phone number and e-mail address.
The group also is asking retirees to write to their federal and state lawmakers and will plan protests.
