Stumpo family marks couple's 60th anniversary

LIBERTY — Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Stumpo of Liberty will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 6 at a family dinner.

St. Ann Church in Brier Hill was the setting on Aug 6, 1949, when the former Antoinette Albanese and Dominic Stumpo were married.

The Stumpos are members of St. Edward Church in Youngstown.

Mrs. Stumpo worked for Fanny Farmer and Strouss-Kaufmann’s department store before retiring in 1987 after 18 years.

Mr. Stumpo served in the U.S. Army in 1947 and was employed at General Fireproofing before retiring in 1984 after 42 years.

The couple have three daughters and sons-in-law: Cheryl and Robert Maruniak, Deborah and Paul Jurko, and Patricia and Matt Kambic. Included in the family are three grandchildren: Matthew and Andrew Kambic and Taylor Maruniak.
