DiPieros receive dinner, honors on 60th anniversary

COITSVILLE — John and Elinor DiPiero of Coitsville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 18.

Family and friends honored the couple during the 5 p.m. Mass at St. Lucy Church with Monsignor John Ashton presiding. Afterward, the DiPieros were treated to dinner at Scacchetti’s Restaurant in Boardman.

The DiPieros are the parents of David (Leslie) DiPiero of Glen Mills, Pa., and Diane (Dr. James) Rodio of Cleveland Heights. They have four grandchildren: Daniel, Mia, Dominic and Laura.

Mr. and Mrs. DiPiero were married in the original St. Lucy Church in 1949.

Mr. DiPiero, a veteran of World War II, is a retired salesman. The DiPieros have been active members of St. Lucy’s throughout their marriage.
