“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m., WFMJ Channel 21): Ohio Self Tax Reform is making an impact in the Valley. Bill Johnson and Brenda Mack will join host Madonna Pinkard to discuss the bonuses of the new initiative and how it will benefit the community through clothing exemptions and a sales-tax holiday.

Gwen Bush and Evelyn Gilmore Jones will preview the new “Just Makes Sense” program to benefit home-buyers in the Valley. Next, Suzanne Barbati, the new executive director of the Children’s Center for Science and Technology, formerly the Children’s Museum, will showcase the new programming for children and educators.

Finally, Melissa Papini from the Women, Infants and Children program (WIC) will discuss World Breastfeeding Week and a free picnic to encourage new mothers to breastfeed.
