Date announced for celebration of Moore 50th

NORTH JACKSON — Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Moore, 461 S. Salem-Warren Road, are observing their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 15 at Dino’s Restaurant.

The event will mark the anniversary of their July 25, 1959, wedding at Grace Baptist Church in Martinez, Calif.

Invitations for the event will be issued by their children, Marve Moore of Willow, Alaska; Kyla Moore of North Jackson; Brinda Moore of New Port Richie, Fla.; and Eldora McAdams of Canfield. There are six grandchildren and one great-grandchild in the family.

Mrs. Moore, the former Judy Minton, is a homemaker

Mr. Moore retired on June 6, 1996, from General Motors in Lordstown, where he was in skilled trades and maintenance. He was a credit manager for 26 years with Jackson Federal Credit Union, and is a member of the Knights of Pythias.

The couple are members of First Federated Church and the Lost Dutchman’s Mining Association.
