NORTH JACKSON — Announcement of the engagement of their daughter, Amanda M. Ruby, to Brandon S. Ray is being made by Robert and Rebecca Ruby, 12395 N. Palmyra Road. Mr. Ray is a son of Mark Ray of Logan and Brenda Ray of Canton.

Invitations will be extended for the couple’s wedding, to take place at 3 p.m. Sept. 12 at Deerfield Methodist Church in Deerfield and for a reception to follow at the Deerfield Town Hall.
