Garden party planned

YOUNGSTOWN — Good Natured Garden Partners is having a garden party from 1-3 p.m. Aug. 19 at Wick Park Pavilion, Fifth Avenue.

Take your team, your veggies and celebrate your gardening successes. A light lunch will be provided. Prizes will be awarded for tallest sunflower, largest zucchini, best tomatoes, best peppers, and best melon.

The party is a collaborative effort of Ohio State University Extension, Mahoning County Commissioners, Men’s Garden Club of Youngstown and the Wean Foundation.
