Community yard sales planned in Jackson Twp.

NORTH JACKSON — North Jackson Citizens Association has scheduled Community Wide Yard Sales Days for 9 a.m. Aug. 7 and 8 throughout the township. A map to locate the 100 plus sales will be available the morning of the sales at businesses and at 11349 W. Mahoning Ave., where free parking is available.

The yard sales promote the township and bring residents together. The Citizens ask for as little as $5 to be placed on the maps. All funds go back into the community, such as the Veterans Memorial, Memorial Day and Fourth of July celebrations, hosting Meet the Candidate nights and supporting youth projects and school events.
