Chicken dinner and more

SALEM — Salem First Friends Church, Jennings Ave., is hosting the Annual Friends Disaster Service Chicken Barbecue on Aug. 15. Dinner will be served from 4-8 with live entertainment, games, pony rides and a silent auction. Cost for the chicken dinner is $9, and a children’s hot dog meal is $3.
