Pa. man accused of taking $30K from soda machines

LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) — Police in central Pennsylvania have issued an arrest warrant for a man accused of stealing more than $30,000 from vending machines he maintained.

Police in Manheim Township say 32-year-old Axel Carlson stole $33,676 in bills and change from vending machines in Lancaster and York counties between January 2008 and June 2009. The former Coca-Cola route driver is charged with theft.

Police say Carlson formerly lived in Lititz but now may live elsewhere in the state.
