YOUNGSTOWN — The exchange of nuptial vows took place at 2 p.m. June 13 as Kelly Lynn Pondillo and Steven Austin Carroll, both of San Antonio, Fla., were united in marriage by Monsignor Michael Cariglio at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

The couple accepted congratulations during a reception at St. Christine Parish Center before leaving on a wedding trip to Antigua. They live in San Antonio.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pondillo of Canfield, and the groom’s parents are Charlotte Carroll of North Redington Beach, Fla., and Kenneth Carroll of Keystone Heights, Fla.

Traci Pondillo was the honor attendant for her sister, and bridesmaids were Michelle Westlake, the groom’s sister; Trish Weaver; Kara Donley; and Rica Gratil.

The duties of best man were performed by the groom’s brother, Chris Carroll, and groomsmen were Benjamin Donatelli, Joshua Trombley, David Schlecter and Arthur Kirk.

Mrs. Carroll graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in social work, and from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla., with a master’s in social work. She is an instructor with the University of Phoenix and a social worker/case manager with Florida Hospital Zephyrhills, Fla.

Mr. Carroll is the owner of Carroll Technology Group LLC. He earned a bachelor’s in computer information systems and a master’s in business administration from St. Leo University in Florida, where he is an assistant director server administration.
