GIRARD — The wedding of Kristina Marie Vrona and Michael Frederick Binder, both of 419 Hayes Ave., McDonald, took place May 9 at St. Rose Catholic Church.

The Rev. Steven Agostino officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony, and the couple accepted congratulations later that day during a reception at Avion on the Water in Canfield. After a wedding trip to Aruba, they live in McDonald.

Parents of the bride are William and Cynthia Vrona, 2122 Windsor Ave., Youngstown, and the groom’s parents are Michael and Sandra Binder, 832 Oregon Ave., McDonald.

The bride’s strapless A-line white gown was enhanced with lace and beading and featured a chapel train.

Faith Demko, the honor attendant, wore a Daphne rose gown, as did the bridesmaids, Cathy Boyd; Kristian Binder, a sister of the groom; and Melissa Merrick, the bride’s cousin. Flower girl was Sadie Demko.

Jeff Coles performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Michael Van Valien, Eric Coles and Jeff Misier. The groom’s cousin Christopher Felger was ring bearer.

The bride, an MRI technician with St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, graduated from Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Radiography in New Castle, Pa.

The groom graduated from St. Elizabeth Health Center School of Radiography and is an interventional radiologic technologist with St. Elizabeth Health Center.
