An EMS crew was called to Sugarbush Drive about 8:30 p.m. after someone called to report an all-terrain-vehicle accident.

Man sought in beating
YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for the man accused of brutally beating a toddler, and they want help from the public.
Police have a warrant for the arrest of Jerbrail Grhim, 19, of Campbell, charged with felonious assault in the beating of a South Side baby. The baby was listed Monday in critical condition at Akron Children’s Hospital.
Capt. Kenneth Centorame said anyone with information on Grhim’s whereabouts should call 911 or (330) 746-CLUE to speak to detectives involved in the case. Centorame said it is important to understand that anyone offering Grhim assistance with food, clothing, shelter or in any other way will be charged with a crime.
The child, of Lucius Avenue, was reportedly assaulted with a wire coat hanger by Grhim, who is not related to the child. The child also was punched several times and held underwater in a bathtub. A family friend has said the child was born in February 2008, and that Grhim had met the child’s mother two weeks ago.

3 charged in abduction
YOUNGSTOWN — Three men accused of detaining a man against his will in a convenience store have been arraigned on felony charges. They are: Musa Alhamid, 47, of Orlo Lane, Boardman; Ali Allawanseh, 23, of Kendis Circle; and Raed Alhamamed, 39, of Colonial Drive, Liberty. They appeared Monday via video for arraignment before Magistrate Anthony Sertick of Youngstown Municipal Court on abduction charges. Bond was set at $10,000 for each man.
Police were called to Petra Food Mart, Elm Street, around 2 p.m. Saturday. An officer found the door locked with four men inside. One of the men unlocked the door to let the officer in.
The victim told police he had been held in the store against his will and that the other three had threatened to beat him.
The men told the officer they believed the man is one of two people who broke into their store earlier in the week. They said they were unaware that the door was locked and said they did not threaten him.
