YOUNGSTOWN — The June 20 wedding of Pamela Lynn Stennis, daughter of Leon and Cheryl Stennis of Youngstown and the late Juanita Briggs-Stennis, and Brandon Jerome Sarratt, son of Colette Sarratt-Hill of Cleveland and the late Richard J. Sarratt, took place at 2:30 p.m. at Union Baptist Church.

The Rev. Michael H. Harrison officiated, and a reception followed at Willow Creek Banquet Centre in Girard. After a honeymoon cruise to Key West, Fla., and Cozumel, Mexico, the couple reside in Columbus.

The bride’s satin A-line gown featured a pleated bodice, beaded lace appliqu s and a sweep train.

Victorian lilac gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Leenisha Stennis and Ebony Billups, and the bridesmaids, Carla Sarratt, Sophia Kitchen and Elizabeth Dougherty. Flower girl was Kelsey Pickard.

Reginald Rucker Jr. was best man, and groomsmen were Michael Bankston, Jonathan Bentley, Claude Bentley III and Michael Paramore. Donovan Pickard was ring bearer.

Hostesses were Elizabeth Gaines and Damaris Wallace, and ushers were Steven Taylor and Joshua Erkard.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations at Westminster College and a master’s in English at Youngstown State University. She is a proposal writer for UnitedHealthcare in Westerville.

Mr. Sarratt is a head processor with Initial Underwriting Group in Columbus. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Denison University.
