Mr. and Mrs. Frank Malagisi celebrate their 50th anniversary at dinner party

BOARDMAN — Mr. and Mrs. Frank Malagisi, 5178 Sheridan Road, were honored by invited guests and family members as they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a dinner party on July 12 at Caff Capri.

Hosts for the event were their son and daughter, Denise Malagisi and Gary Malagisi, both of Youngstown.

Fifty years ago Mr. Malagisi and the former Donna Jean Vagillon exchanged nuptial vows as they were united in marriage on July 4, 1959, at St. Stanislaus Church in Youngstown. They are members of St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.

Mrs. Malagisi, who is retired, was a practical nurse. Mr. Malagisi served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired in 2001 as a working supervisor at the Mahoning County Courthouse in Youngstown.
