GARDEN CLUBS | This week's meetings announced

MONDAY

• Garden Gate will tour McKinley Library and Museum in Canton and eat dinner. Mary Jane Pavelko is cohostess.

TUESDAY

• Columbiana will meet at 12:30 p.m. at the club room.

• East will meet at 11:30 a.m. at Bruno’s in Poland. Helen Beckner will serve as hostess, and a representative of the Green Team will be the speaker.

• Gleaners will meet at 10:30 a.m. at the home of Millie Campean. Members are reminded to take a covered dish and items for an auction.

WEDNESDAY

• Daisy Dozen will meet at 11 a.m. at Fellows Riverside Gardens for an 11:30 program on “Worms” and 12:15 p.m. lunch. Those unable to attend should contact Jinx Storey, (330) 759-9732, or Betty McLaughlin, (330) 759-1234.

• Ivy League will attend a Mill Creek concert and have a brown bag supper at 12:30 p.m.

FRIDAY

• Suburban will have a picnic with games at 12:30 p.m. with Mrs. Charles Stark as hostess.

• Garden club events are published Sunday. The deadline is noon Thursday.
