GIRARD

• Girard Seniors will meet at the center, 16 N. State St., at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Following the business session a dice game will be played. Reservations will be taken for the Aug. 19 corn roast.

HOLY NAME

• Holy Name Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. July 26 at Founders Hall for a picnic, cards and bingo. Reservations are required and the cost is $6. Birthdays will be observed and drawings will take place. Officers serving as hostesses will be Wilma Kutlick, Agnes Phillips, Marge Bada and Ginnie Miller.

LIBERTY FRIENDS

• A meeting of Liberty Friends will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty Presbyterian Church on state Route 304. Take a sack lunch; coffee will be provided.

LOCAL 1199

• A picnic has been planned by Local 1199 Retirees for 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Birch Cabin in Mill Creek Park. Members are asked to take a covered dish. For more information call Anna Evans, (330) 750-0746.

MARTHA LUPSE

• Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bob Ferrara will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. MINERAL RIDGE 55-PLUS CLUB

• Mineral Ridge 55-Plus Club will meet at noon Tuesday at Denny’s in Austintown for lunch and games.

P.E.R.I. 18

• Public Employees Retirees, Mahoning Chaper 18, will meet at noon Aug. 4 at the ITAM on Meridian Road, for an annual indoor picnic. The buffet will include hot dogs, hamburgers, breaded chicken, baked beans, potato salad, tossed salad, fruit, desserts, rolls, and coffee and tea. John Gabriele will present musical entertainment and there will be a money raffle. The cost is $7 at the door. PACKARD ELECTRIC, DELPHI PACKARD

• Packard Electric and Delphi Packard Retirees, Local 717, will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Local 717 Union Hall in Warren Commerce Park, 2950 Sferra Ave. All members are asked to take a labeled covered dish and table service. Instead of the monthly speaker, bingo will be played.

REAC 3298

• Members of REAC 3298 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at the aerie on South Raccoon Road for the annual summer picnic. Melva Day will preside. New members are welcome.

ST. CHRISTINE

• St. Christine Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday for a brunch buffet in the parish center. No buffet tickets will be sold at the door; advance reservations only. President Ruth Infante will preside. July birthdays will be observed, and there will be attendance prizes, a 50-50 raffle, and cards and bingo will be played.
