YOUNGSTOWN — The wedding of Marianne Louise Dorbish and David Michael Poltar, both of Orlando, Fla., took place at 1:30 p.m. May 23 at Sts. Peter & Paul Church.

A reception followed at The Georgetown in Boardman in honor of the daughter of Michael and Pauline Dorbish, 866 Upton Drive, and son of Mariann Poltar of Brookfield and the late Lawrence Poltar.

The couple honeymooned on a Mediterranean cruise and in Florence, Italy. They live at 4707 Arcie St., Orlando.

The bride wore a mermaid-style gown of silk accented with Swarovski crystals.

Her sister, Allison Price, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Olana Wolf, Celeste Guerrieri, Lisa DeBellis, Megan Swansinger, Natalie Ray and Kelli Kohler. They wore celery green gowns. Paulina Mudrey was flower girl.

Timothy Demay served as best man, and groomsmen were Dan Voytco, John DeBellis, Christopher Bellino, Kevin Scarmack, Matthew DeFrank and Brian Mudrey. Ushers were Bruce Carlson and Jeremy Gruber.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in interior design at Kent State University and is a senior project designer with Maverick Architecture & Design in Orlando.

Mr. Poltar holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Toledo University and is a sales representative with Signature Eyewear in Orlando.
