A summary of recent criminal activity in Boardman Township:
July 10
Identity theft: A township man found out someone had gained access to his online United Parcel Service account.
Theft: A 23-year-old Youngstown woman was charged in the theft of $49 worth of clothing from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Theft: A $510 tail gate was stolen off a truck in the 300 block of Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A garage-door opener was taken from a car in the 1200 block of Valley View Drive.
Arrest: A Warren man, 43, was charged with obstructing official business and disorderly conduct while intoxicated during a traffic stop in the 3100 block of Market Street.
Burglary: Forty-five medications were stolen during a break-in at a South Avenue residence.
Recovered property: Police found in the 5800 block of West Boulevard a 1995 Honda motorcycle that had been stolen from a Columbus man.
Theft: A male stole three articles of clothing from Kohl’s, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Three bicycles were taken from a front yard in the 1900 block of Wendy Lane.
Arrest: Officers responded to a possible domestic situation in the 7300 block of Sugartree Drive and charged a 45-year-old resident with obstructing official business, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and menacing. Police had to use a Taser because the man failed to comply and had approached them several times in a threatening manner, a report said.
July 11
Criminal damaging: Someone used a rock to break a window to an apartment in the 4800 block of Erie Street.
Theft: A township boy, 15, was charged after a situation at Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Forgery: A Market Street woman learned that her name was forged on 14 checks that had been stolen from her.
Theft: A temporary tag was removed from a vehicle in the 900 block of Mathews Road.
Drugs: A Boardman woman, 25, faced two counts of possession of drug-abuse instruments after police responded to possible prostitution activity near Market Street and Shadyside Drive.
July 12
Assault: A 35-year-old township man was arrested on a warrant after his girlfriend alleged he had grabbed her by the throat and smacked her face during an argument about a text message she received.
Vandalism: A rock was used to shatter a window at a Simon Road business.
Theft: A 12-speed mountain bike was removed from an apartment in the 5000 block of Aravesta Avenue.
Theft: A vehicle was pulled over in the 5900 block of Market Street, where a 49-year-old Columbus woman was taken into custody on a warrant.
Vandalism: A picture window was damaged at a residence in the 1500 block of Rose Hedge Drive.
Theft: Someone took $300 from an apartment in the 6000 block of Applecrest Court.
Criminal damaging: A BB gun was used to shoot and cause $300 worth of damage to a window at a Montrose Avenue home.
Misuse of a credit card: An East Palestine woman’s credit card was used without permission to make $53 worth of purchases at a South Avenue restaurant.
Robbery: A gunman age 20 to 25 wearing a bandanna over his face, a red shirt and silver shorts robbed a Shell True North gas station, 5135 Market St., of an undisclosed amount of money, as well as Ohio Lottery tickets, cigars and cigarettes.
Citation: A Warren man, 40, was cited near Midlothian Boulevard when, police said, a small amount of suspected marijuana was found during a traffic stop.
Domestic violence: Authorities responded to a situation at a Southwoods Drive apartment and charged a city man, 22, with domestic violence and obstructing official business. The woman, who had a mark on her neck, also was charged with obstructing official business.
July 13
Theft: Someone stole $4,620 from a Pearson Circle apartment.
Weapon: Officers stopped a car near Southern Boulevard and said they found a knife, a small bag of suspected marijuana and a suspected crack pipe. Charges against two Warren men, 39 and 41, included carrying a concealed weapon, obstructing official business and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Assault: A Poland girl was not injured after reporting she had been assaulted at a Doral Drive store.
Theft: A Salem woman, 22, was charged in the theft of $163 worth of clothing from Macy’s in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A 27-year-old city woman faced charges of theft and obstructing official business after $166 worth of clothing was taken from Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road. She provided a false name, a report showed.
Burglary: To a Centervale Avenue home via a rear window. An MP3 player was stolen.
Menacing: A Poland man reported being in an argument with another driver near South Avenue.
Theft/criminal damaging: Someone broke into a trailer belonging to Lilly Pad Lawn Care Service, 730 Bev Road. Three weed trimmers, a hedge trimmer, a lawn mower and a hand trimmer were stolen.
Theft: A woman reported the theft of 12 prescription medications while at a Boardman-Canfield Road eatery.
Assault: A man reported being pushed while at a Hitchcock Road church, though he was not hurt.
Theft: A 43-year-old woman was charged with stealing 16 articles of clothing, resulting in a $211 loss for the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Vandalism: An atrium window was damaged at a California Avenue doctor’s office.
July 14
Drugs: A Youngstown man, 30, was arrested at a Market Street motel and faced a felony charge of possession of drugs when, authorities said, they found a white powder that tested positive for cocaine. He also was wanted on a felonious-assault charge.
