ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church was the setting as Stephanie Frazzini and Thomas Rushwin, both of 3955 Emerald Glade Court, Cumming, Ga., exchanged nuptial vows during a 3:30 p.m. ceremony on June 6 in the presence of the Rev. Kevin Elseroad.
The daughter of the late Suzette Frazzini, who lived in Youngstown, and the son of Jim and Linda Rushwin, 2775 Preston Ridge Lane, Dacula, Ga., were honored during a reception at the Doubletree Hotel in Roswell, Ga., before leaving for a honeymoon on the Hawaiian island of Oahu.
The bride’s halter-style A-line gown was enhanced with metallic embroidery and beading.
Black gowns were worn by Danielle Tatarka, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Amy Leonard, Alissa Beinecke, Heather Moran, Leslie Bartels and Chris Hahn. Elise Davis was flower girl.
Jimmy Rushwin served as best man, and groomsmen were Justin Simkavitz, Mehul Patel, Dan Elseroad, Brandon Gilley and Tim Tatarka. Jackson Elseroad and Dakota Bartels were ring bearers.
The bride graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree and from Mercer University in Atlanta with a master’s of education degree. She is a sixth-grade social studies teacher with Forsyth County Schools in Cumming.
The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia and is a senior software engineer with VCG in Roswell.
The Rushwins live in Cumming.
