Scout museum to open at Camp Stambaugh

CANFIELD — The Greater Western Reserve Council Scout Museum will be dedicated at 2:22 p.m. Thursday at Camp Stambaugh Scout Reservation, 3712 Leffingwell Road.

Scouting alumni and the public are invited to attend the dedication and to tour the museum and camp.

In conjunction with the event, a team of volunteers from Michigan will bring the Century of Values Nationwide Tour of the Boy Scouts of America to Camp Stambaugh. The yearlong nationwide road tour is designed to thank local officials and volunteers for their commitment to the youth of the community. The two events will serve as a preview for the 100th-year anniversary of Scouting in 2010.
