Raids bring arrests, drugs, cash and guns

YOUNGSTOWN — Two separate police raids in the city ended in three arrests and confiscated drugs, guns, cash and drug paraphernalia.

Robert William Floyd, 44, of Dryden Avenue, was arraigned before Judge Elizabeth Kobly in Youngstown Municipal Court, on felony misuse of food stamps, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia charges. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.

Kimberly Wilson-Talley, 42, of Woodside Avenue, was also appeared before Judge Kobly for arraignment on a drug paraphernalia charge. She was also arrested at Floyd’s Dryden Avenue home.

Police raided the Dryden address at 7:46 p.m. Tuesday. Inside the house officers recovered prescription drugs in various forms, crack cocaine, a loaded .45 caliber pistol, a large amount of cash in a wall safe and Ohio Directional food stamp cards in the names of four different people.

Police listed the names of several uncharged people in and around the home at the time of the raid. There is also a list of multiple vehicles on the property.

Police also raided a house at 622 W. Delason Ave. at 5:19 p.m. Tuesday. Inside that home police found prescription drugs, crack cocaine, marijuana, a .45 caliber pistol, a .357 revolver, drug paraphernalia and a large roll of cash.

Lamar Robinson, 32, who lists the Delason address as his home, appeared before Judge Kobly for arraignment on possession of drugs and illegal possession of a weapon. He is being held on a $155,000 bond.

Floyd, Robinson and Wilson-Talley are all due back in court July 23.
