Ghossains mark opening of new shop on Route 422
NILES — The Ghossain family had a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday to mark the opening of Ghossain’s 422 Gourmet Mediterranean Foods, 6261 Youngstown-Warren Road. The family also operates Ghossain’s Bakery in Boardman.
The new store features eight flavors of flat bread, pita bread and pastries. Hummus, stuffed grape leaves, tabouli and all other deli items will be made daily.
The family business has shipped bread and other baked goods to all 50 states and to major accounts such as Walt Disney World and the Excalibur Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas. Martha Stewart recommended Ghossain’s Mideast Bread in her book “Quick Cook Menus.”
Advanced Specialty Hospitals plan ceremony
BOARDMAN — A ribbon- cutting ceremony will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday for Advanced Specialty Hospitals of Greenbriar Rehabilitation, 8064 South Ave. An open house will begin at 4 p.m.
Advanced Specialty Hospitals of Greenbriar Rehabilitation, formerly known as Greenbriar Rehabilitation Hospital, has undergone a $250,000 renovation. New amenities include private rehabilitation suites, apartment suites, an enhanced therapy gym and a renovated dining area.
