Mary Weatherall to mark 103rd birthday

YOUNGSTOWN — Mary Weatherall, a resident of Windsor House at Guardian Health Care Center, 1735 Belmont Ave., will be celebrating her 103rd birthday with friends and staff members during a party planned for 3 p.m. Friday.

She was born July 17, 1906, in Union Hall, Ark.

Weatherall has lived through two World Wars. She recalls that during her lifetime there was the sinking of the Titanic, the invention of the computer and television, and people began flying around the world and into space and landing on the moon.
