LA operator of three Youngstown TV stations files for bankruptcy

A California company that controls three Youngstown television stations says operations won’t change even though it has filed for bankruptcy.

New Vision Television of Los Angeles said it reached a restructuring agreement with its major lenders before filing for bankruptcy protection in a Delaware court Monday.

Locally, the company owns WKBN-TV and WYFX and operates WYTV under an agreement its Los Angeles-based owner.
