Arts foundation plans community festival

YOUNGSTOWN — Pig Iron Literary and Art Works will host a free community street festival from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday between Commerce and Federal streets, on North Phelps Street.

Featured will be a talent show, entertainers, poetry readings, an arts and crafts bazaar and refreshments.

Those interested in participating in the talent show from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. must register in advance. There will be a four-minute limit to each presentation. For more information, entertainers and vendors may call (330) 747-6932.
