New and used car sales in Valley fell in June

Sales of both new and used vehicles in the Mahoning Valley fell in June.

Area dealers sold 1,746 new vehicles last month, which was down 32 percent form June 2008, the Automobile Dealers Association of Eastern Ohio said today.

Dealers in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties sold 3,416 used vehicles, which was down 10 percent.
