DANCES
• North Shenango Community Center, 2857 state Route 285, Espyville, will sponsor an oldies dance with DJ Donny, Do-Wopp and Rockin’ Roger from 7 to 11 p.m. July 25. Admission is $7. Those attending are asked take their own finger foods, and beer, chips, pretzels and coffee will be provided. There will be a singles’ table. • USA Dance will offer free tutoring for beginners and basics at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Orthodox Center, 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave. At 5:30 p.m. a night club slow dance lesson will be sponsored by Brian and Vicki Gallagher of Dance Connection. Dancing to ballroom, latin, swing and hustle will be from 6:15 to 9. The public is welcome with or without partners. Admission is $5 for dance members, $10 for nonmembers and guests and $2.50 for students.
FESTIVALS
• Leetonia Artisans Festival is accepting applications for food and craft vendors to set up for the one-day show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 20. at Leetonia Wick Park. The cost is $30 for a 15x15-foot spot with electricity available. Only handcrafted items are acceptable; send photos. Send all contract requests to Leetonia Artisans Festival, 300 E. FUNDRAISERS
• American Legion Post 504, 2225 Glenwood Ave., Youngstown, will be sponsor for beer bash from 4 p.m. to midnight Aug. 1. The event is co-sponsored by Sons of American Legion Post 732 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 504 as a benefit for muscular dystrophy. Tickets will be $5.
SALES
• Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, 480 Youngstown-Poland Road, Struthers, is open Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The ReStore carries a wide variety of furniture, including a large selection of couches and many large metal professional office desks; used building materials such as doors, windows, sinks, hardware and plumbing; lighting; home decor items; large and small appliances; electronics; toys; books and much more. All items are sold at low discount prices. ReStore takes donations and sells to the public, all to benefit Habitat for Humanity’s home-building program. • Logan Swim and Tennis Club, 3245 Logan Way, will sponsosr a rummage sale fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Featured will be household items, toys, electronics, furniture, sporting equipment and tools.
• Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, 291 Scoville Drive, Vienna, will sponsor a rummage sale. Admission to the preview sale from 3 to 6 p.m. July 30 is $3. There is no admission charged for the sale from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 31 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 1, with a bag sale that day from 1 to 3. Food and a bake sale will be available.
• St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, is sponsoring a trash and treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 25. Vendors can rent a table for $10 by calling the rectory, (330) 755-1086.
• Salvation Army Thrift Store in Austin Center, Mahoning Avenue, Austintown, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. A variety of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and bric-a-brac is available at bargain prices.
• Zion Lutheran Church, 3300 Canfield Road, Cornersburg, will have a one-day trunk treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 8 in the church parking lot. Vendors can rent a space for $10 and sell their treasures from the trunk of their cars. To rent a space call (330) 793-6048.

• Austintown Block Watch is sponoring a block party for residents of the Wickliffe area of Austintown from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Wickliffe Christian Church, 3939 Potomac Ave., Austintown. TRIPS
• The Sutliff Museum will offer a one-day bus tour to four William McKinley sites in Canton on July 23. The cost is $42 per person and includes transportation, driver's tip, admissions, tour guides, snacks and bottled water on the bus. Lunch will be on your own at Bender’s Restaurant. The motor coach will be ready for boarding in the parking lot of the new Wal-Mart on Elm Road in Warren at 8 a.m. and will depart at 8:30. • Trumbull County Travel Club has scheduled is a 4-day trip to Vermont, Sept. 28-Oct. 1, which is open to any person over 18.
