TRUMBULL COUNTY Junior Fair

A total of 22 youths participated in the 2009 Trumbull County Junior Fair Dairy Show. The sponsor is Trumbull County Holstein Club. Here are this year’s award winners:

Junior (9-11 yrs): first, Braden Elsea; second, Billy Smith; third, Julie Smallsreed.

Intermediate (12-14 yrs): first, Amber Dietz; second, Louis Liming; third, Marlena Liming; fourth, Daniel Montgomery; fifth, Nick Aberegg-Smith; sixth, Elijah DoBay; seventh, Joel Straley; eighth, Hannah Trumbull; ninth, Chad Carr.

Senior (15-18 yrs): first, Brock Elsea; second, Troy Elsea; third, Nicholas Fiest; fourth, Dan Christner, fifth, Shannon Montgomery.

Advanced (9-18 yrs): first, Ashlee Dietz; second, Brock Elsea; third, Emily Smallsreed; fourth, Amber Dietz; fifth, Dan Christner; sixth, Braden Elsea; seventh, Laura Bond.

The Trumbull 4-H Dairy program also has an Outstanding Dairy Project Contest with trophies sponsored by The Dairy Farmers of America and the Trumbull County Farm Bureau. This year’s winners are:

The dairy program has a Dairy Production Contest every year with a revolving trophy sponsored by Bob and Geneva Cebula. This year’s Dairy Production Award winner:
