Family hosts dinner party for Joseph 50th

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Edward Joseph, 10434 Rapp Road, were honored by family members and invited guests as they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 11 at a dinner party at Bruno’s in Poland.

Hosts for the party included their children, Kim Larson of New Middletown, Kevin Joseph and his wife, Shirley, of New Middletown, and Keith Joseph of Boardman; Mr. Joseph’s sister, JoAnn Knapic; and Mrs. Joseph’s mother, Bessie Gossett. The couple have three grandchildren, Joshua, Katelyn and Kelsey Larson.

The former Marlene Gossett and Mr. Joseph were united in marriage on July 11, 1959, at the Chapel of Friendly Bells in Youngstown. They are member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Joseph retired in September 1989 from Mahoning Bank, where she was a customer-service representative.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Joseph was the manager of systems design at Computer Science Inc., Niles, prior to retiring in February 1999.
