YOUNGSTOWN — A 22-year-old city man is going to prison for 12 years after pleading guilty as charged to aggravated burglary and rape with a firearm specification.
Oshah M. Porch, of Thornton Avenue, drew the sentence Wednesday from Judge Maureen A. Sweeney of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court. Porch will be on parole for five years after he leaves prison.
The indictment says Porch made a woman engage in sexual conduct May 1 using force or threat of force and committed the burglary the same day, with the same woman listed as the victim.
When he was arrested on these charges at 10 p.m. May 1 in Boardman, he was under three years of state supervision after having been released from prison in November 2008.
Porch had drawn a two-year prison term in February 2007 after a Trumbull County conviction for kidnapping, felonious assault and domestic violence.
