Task force arrests Warren man on numerous charges

WARREN — Investigative work that spanned three months by a law-enforcement task force resulted in the arrest of a city man, who faces numerous charges, including drug trafficking.

Lt. Jeff Orr, project commander of the Trumbull-Ashtabula Group Law Enforcement Task Force, said investigators arrested Michael Kuntz in his upstairs apartment on North Park Avenue today.

Orr said the task force had been working for three months on its investigation involving suspected drug trafficking.

Kuntz is in the Trumbull County Jail without bond until his arraignment Monday in Warren Municipal Court.

Though investigators are still determining specific charges, Kuntz is facing multiple charges of trafficking and possession of cocaine and marijuana, receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of a firearm, and other firearms offenses, according to a task force press release.
