Pink Ribbon Golf Classic open to 4-women teams

YOUNGSTOWN — Four-women teams of golfers are invited to participate in the American Cancer Society Pink Ribbon Golf Classic July 20 at Youngstown Country Club, 1402 Country Club Drive.

There will be a continental breakfast and registration at 8 a.m., and the scramble will begin at 9 with a shotgun start.

The cost for each team is $440 and includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, hole challenge contests on all holes, mulligans, raffles and a buffet lunch at 2:30 p.m. Madonna Morrison will be honored for her outstanding community service.

The tournament is in memory of Linda Fiorelli, who died of breast cancer.

Home Savings and Loan Co. is the title sponsor for the event, and committee co-chairs are Ginny Johnston and Cheryl Miskell. They are assisted by Sandy Beckwith, Debbie Burgy, Nancy Felton, Beth Kobly, Rita Lopez, Donna Mowrey, Pam Planey, Diane Reha, Heidi Smith and Linda Sturdevant.
