Easter Seals fundraiser to feature auction, dinner

Special to The Vindicator IN PARADISE: Cameron Posta, the Easter Seals 2009 Child Representative, is prepared to take part in the “Cheeseburger in Paradise” Margaritaville-themed evening of fun and food be sponsored by Easter Seals.

BOARDMAN — Easter Seals has scheduled its fourth annual “Cheeseburger in Paradise” auction and dinner for 6:30 p.m. July 24 at Father Haidet Hall in St. Charles Church on Westview Drive.

Admission to the Margaritaville-themed evening of fun, food and entertainment is $20.

Included will be a cheeseburger dinner, a cash bar, Godiva chocolate tasting, and live, silent and Chinese auctions.

At 7:30 p.m. Jeff Byce will conduct an auction for such items as tickets for sporting events, shopping packages and furniture.

Patrons will also have an opportunity to win an umbrella of cash.

Proceeds will benefit programs and services provided by Easter Seals for children and adults with disabilities and special needs in the community.
