Springfield schedules Community Day

NEW MIDDLETOWN— Springfield residents can meet township officials and see the equipment their tax dollars purchase at the Springfield Township Community Day from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Springfield Local High School.

The event will feature township employees— including trustees, the fiscal officer and police— and movable equipment like police cruisers for residents to see.

Organizers plan to have free food on hand for all attendees and games for children.
