Rock Hall of Fame dedicates wall to honor 2-time inductee

CLEVELAND (AP) — The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland dedicated a special memorial wall to Michael Jackson while a memorial service for the King of Pop took place in Los Angeles.

The wall chronicling the career of the two-time Rock Hall inductee was dedicated Tuesday.

Jackson was inducted in 1997 as part of the Jackson 5 and again in 2001 as a solo artist. The wall shows photos from various phases on his life.

A candlelight vigil was planned for 9 p.m. Tuesday. It was to include remarks from a local church pastor and from Terry Stewart, president and CEO of the Rock Hall. Fans were invited to give their own testimonials during the ceremony on the hall’s outdoor plaza.
