Pa. has its 6th swine flu-related death


NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Health officials in suburban Philadelphia say a 19-year-old woman with swine flu has died.

The Montgomery County Health Department says the woman had underlying medical conditions and swine flu was a contributing factor to the death. The death announced todday was the first swine flu-related death in Montgomery County.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health says the state has a total of six swine flu related deaths so far.

Also today, Gov. Ed Rendell announced that people from his office, the Health Department, the Education Deprartment and the Pennsylvania Emergency Managment Agency will attend a federally sponsored swine flu summit Thursday in Bethesda, Md.
