Beauticians to host seminar, trade show

BOARDMAN — Ohio Association of Beauticians, Youngstown Chapter 12, will host the 71st state convention, education seminar and trade show Saturday through Tuesday at the Holiday Inn-South, 7410 South Ave.

Exhibits will be open to the public beginning at 9 a.m. each day.

Advance tickets for the convention kick-off at 7 p.m. Saturday will be $20, or $25 at the door.

Sonja Williams will be the speaker at the 8 a.m. prayer breakfast on Sunday. The cost is $22. Kymberli Jenkins will be the speaker at the 7 p.m. President’s Banquet, and the cost is $45.

On Monday the Madame C.J. Walker Product Class and lunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. will cost $40; the Youth for Beauty luncheon at noon is $22; the Lace Front Weaving Technique Class from 3 to 5 p.m. is $35, and the Artist Guild Presentation at 8 p.m. is $10.
