2 men convicted of 1991 Erie, Pa., slaying

ERIE, Pa. (AP) — A jury has convicted two brothers of third-degree murder, finding they killed a woman in a crack house in 1991.

The Erie County jury convicted 55-year-old Thomas Jordan, a convicted rapist, and 50-year-old Tammy Jordan, on Wednesday, the third day of deliberations.

The Erie men denied killing 23-year-old Sabrina Kowal in a dispute over drugs and money.

Kowal’s naked, battered body was dumped on a back road in Summit Township, an Erie suburb about 120 miles north of Pittsburgh.
