Third person dies from June 25 accident on Route 164

NORTH LIMA — A third person has died from injuries sustained in a two-car crash on state Route 164 last month, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

June Montgomery of Struthers died Tuesday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center. She was a passenger in a driven by Michael Montgomery of Poland involved in a June 25 accident.

According to the patrol, a 1994 Geo Prizm driven by Larry D. Blakeman, 52, of Leetonia went left of center and was struck by a 2008 Saturn Vue driven by Michael Montgomery, 56, of Poland. Blakeman died at the scene. Charles Montgomery, a passenger in the Saturn, also died at the scene.

Michael Montgomery, the driver, and Robin Montgomery of Poland, another passenger, also were injured in the accident.

The patrol is investigating.
