Green Energy shows off new rooftop wind turbine

PORT CLINTON, Ohio — Green Energy Technologies unveiled its new rooftop wind turbine, WindCube, on Monday at Lake Erie Business Park. The Akron-based company introduced the turbine, which is designed for urban environments, at a conference in May.

Roth Bros. of Austintown, an energy management and heating company, installed the system and will monitor its energy usage using a remote online system. Roth Bros. also will install other units as Green Energy expands.

UPMC Horizon selects next hospital president

FARRELL, Pa. — Donald Owrey, who had been UPMC Horizon’s interim president, has been named hospital president.

He joined UPMC Horizon in 2008 as vice president of clinical operations. He assumed the position of interim president in February when UPMC Horizon’s previous president, Joel Yuhas, was appointed senior vice president, international operations, within UPMC’s international and commercial services division.

Before joining UPMC Horizon, he served as executive director of Children’s Community Pediatrics, a medical group affiliated with Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
