Pittsburgh neighborhood plagued by arson

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Police say arson is suspected in a seventh home fire in a Pittsburgh neighborhood.

Authorities have said they suspect arsonists have been involved in nine fires, including seven in homes in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden neighborhood. Others have been set in trash containers.

The latest fire started around 2 a.m. today in a vacant home. No one was injured.

Police still don’t have any suspects in the fires, which started June 6.

The city has started demolishing vacant homes in the Sheraden area.
