DANCES

• North Shenango Community Center, 2857 state Route 285, Espyville, will sponsor an oldies dance with DJ Donny, Do-Wopp and Rockin’ Roger from 7 to 11 p.m. July 25. Admission is $7. Those attending are asked take their own finger foods, and beer, chips, pretzels and coffee will be provided. There will be a singles table. FESTIVALS

• Calla Community Church, 6482 W. Calla Road, Canfield, will have its annual lawn festival Saturday beginning at 5 p.m. Featured will be homemade sandwiches, salads, pies and cake. There will also be a Calico Country Cupboard with many homemade jams, jellies, bread, rolls, cookies and handmade items. A grandma’s quilt will be raffled. Tickets cost $1 or 6 for $5. SALES

• Columbiana Women’s Club will sponsor an antique and miniestate sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Columbiana Women’s Club on Main Street. Available will be a collection of quality items including crystal, lamps, unusual furniture and other high-end merchandise. Items donated for the sale by nonmembers will be appreciated. • Highway Tabernacle, 3000 S. Raccoon Road, will have its fifth annual tent sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the corner of Maplecrest Drive and Bexley Drive in Austintown.

• Tod Avenue United Methodist Women, 155 Tod Ave N.W., Warren, will have a Used Treasures rummage sale from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday ($2 a bag day).

TRIPS

• Trumbull County Travel Club has scheduled a day trip June 22 to Wooster for a performance of “Fiddler on the Roof.” The theater excursion is open to the public and includes stops at Lehman’s Hardware, Smuckers and lunch at TJ’s. Also scheduled is a four-day trip to Vermont, Sept. 28-Oct. 1, which is open to anyone over 18.
