MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at seven locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, July 8: Sausage link with peppers and onions and ketchup on a wiener bun, zesty potatoes, diced pears, and milk.

Thursday, July 9: Penne pasta with meatballs, french green beans, shredded lettuce with Italian dressing, garlic bread, mixed fruit, and milk.

Friday, July 10: Tuna mac salad, cottage cheese, three bean salad, unsweetened peach half, wheat roll with margarine, grape juice, and milk.

Saturday, July 11: Cold cut sandwich on a hamburger bun with mustard and mayonnaise, fresh fruit, coleslaw, macaroni salad.

Monday, July 13: Ham slice with pineapple, twice baked potatoes, sliced carrots, wheat bread with margarine, fresh orange, and milk.

Tuesday, July 14: Chicken cacciatore, mashed potatoes, lima beans, rye bread with margarine, fruited gelatin, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.

Wednesday, July 8: Mild rope sausage with peppers and onions and ketchup on a bun, zesty potatoes, sweetened or unsweetened diced pears, and milk.
