Kings mark 50th with family at private picnic

LOWELLVILLE — Wayne and Sandra King, 6965 McCartney Road, gathered with family members July 4 at their home for a private picnic in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary.

The former Sandra Eppinger married Mr. King on July 11, 1959, at Old Hopewell Presbyterian Church in New Bedford, Pa.

The Kings have three children: David (Sheila) King of Atlanta, Ga.; Mark (Liberty) King of Pulaski, Pa.; and Kelli King of Pulaski.

The couple’s family includes eight grandchildren: Cody, Jill, Chelsie, Alexis, Austin, Makayla, Mason and Madison.

Mrs. King is a member of a local card club, and Mr. King is a member of a Masonic lodge and the Lions Club.
